Ingredients

  • 1 t. garlic powder
  • 1 egg yolk (can omit)

  • 1 pound ground beef, turkey, lamb, or sausage (can use impossible burger)
  • 1 C. chopped onion (or 1 t. onion powder)
  • 2 large carrots chopped small (about 1 C.)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely pressed (or ½ t. garlic powder)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (or 2 T. ketchup)
  • 1 ¼ C. low-sodium beef or chicken broth
  • 1 t. worcestershire sauce
  • ½ t. dried oregano
  • ½ t. dried rosemary
  • ½ C. frozen corn kernels
  • ½ C. frozen peas
  • 1 C. shredded sharp cheddar cheese (or Colby Jack)
