Vegan Oil-Free Cream Cheese
Ingredients
  • ¾ cup cashews. Soaked overnight.
  • ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
  • 3 tbsp water.
  • ½ teaspoon kala namak (or black salt).
  • 1 teaspoon of nutritional yeast.
  • ¼ cup chopped chives, scallions or green onions (only the green part).
  • The liquid of one non dairy yogurt + 2 tablespoons of the yogurt.
  • ¼ teaspoon of mustard.
  • Pinch of pepper.
  • Pinch of turmeric (optional, it will turn the cheese slightly yellow).

  • Nut milk bag, cheese cloth or a very thin fabrik.
  • A rubber band.
