Instant Pot Black-Eyed Peas
Ingredients
  • 2 C dry black-eye peas
  • 1 ham and ham bone
  • 1 T avocado oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped small
  • 4 to 6 C of broth or water (enough to cover peas)
  • 2 T white or apple cider vinegar
  • Garlic, salt and pepper to taste
Steps
  1. Clean, rinse and pick peas.
  2. Put oil and onion in IP. Cook on sauce setting until soft. While waiting for that, slice the ham. Add peas, ham broth, vinegar and seasoning to the onions.
  3. High pressure 30 minutes. Let natural release for at least 15 minutes.
