  • 3 to 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup roasted cashews, preferably unsalted
  • 3 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons vegan mayonnaise
  • Powdered vegetable bouillon, Trader Joe’s Mushroom & Company umami seasoning, and/or monosodium glutamate, to taste
  • Scant 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
