Soy-Marinated Eggs (Ramen Eggs)
Ingredients
  • 6 large eggs (fyi: older eggs are easier to peel)
  • 3 to 4 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 3 dried chiles or 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¾ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. mirin (sweet Japanese rice wine)
  • 2 Tbsp. unseasoned rice vinegar
  • ½ Tbsp. sesame oil
  • Toasted sesame seeds (for serving; optional)
