Ingredients
- 6 med sweet peppers chopped, or 2 12-oz jars
- 4 cloves garlic, 2 T olive oil
- 1 c water
- ⅔ c packed fresh basil or 2 T dry
- ½ c tomato paste
- 2T red wine vinegar
Steps
- Cook peppers, garlic, oil. Blend in fd processor, bit by bit with rest til totally smooth. Heat thru in a saucepan. Should work with 8 oz. pasta.
