Servings: About 3 to 4 dozen

1/2cup fat ( Crisco, etc) ½cup fat ( Crisco, etc)
1 cup sugar 1 cup sugar

1/4 cup milk ¼ cup milk
2 cups oatmeal 2 cups oatmeal
1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour 2 cups flour
1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt ¼ tsp salt
1 cup raisins 1 cup raisins

Cream fat- add sugar gradually and work til creamy- add the well beaten eggs, milk, and oatmeal -add flour,soda, cinnamon and salt (mixed and sifted) - add raisins. Drop by spoonfuls on buttered pan. Bake in hot oven. (350)
