Brown Sugar Pound Cake

Dad was a baker by profession. I loved baking and cooking with him when I was a kid. I am a grandmother of 5 and love nothing better than baking/cooking for family and friends at our beachside home.

Baking spray with flour

1 ½ cups unsalted butter, softened

1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

1 (16-oz.) pkg. light brown sugar (about 2 ¼ cups firmly packed)

¾ cup granulated sugar

6 large eggs, at room temperature

3 cups all-purpose flour

¼ tsp. kosher salt

¼ cup whole milk

2 tsp. vanilla extract
