Peach Custard Pie
Used Emmymade's pie crust. Very good and easy.
Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup cold butter, cubed
  • ¼ cup cold shortening, cubed
  • 4 to 5 tablespoons ice-cold water

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 medium-size (about 1 ¼ lb. total), firm-ripe peaches, sliced
