Firecracker Grilled Salmon

Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup green onion, thinly sliced
  • 5 to 10 sprays olive oil spray
  • 1 Tbsp Walden farms maple syrup
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 4 8oz raw salmon fillets
Steps
  1. In a bowl, combine first 9 ingredients. Pour ¼ cup marinade into a
  2. large resealable plastic bag.
  3. Add the salmon; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for up to 30 minutes. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade.
  4. Drain salmon, discarding marinade. Using long-handled tongs, lightly spray grill rack.
  5. Place salmon skin side down on grill rack.
  6. Grill, covered, over high heat or broil 3 to 4 inch from the heat for 5 to 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork, bast occasionally w/remaining marinade.
