Chinese Sticky Ribs
Improvise where you need to, but this is the base of a good sticky rib

Ingredients
  • 1 ¼ Cup Vital Wheat Gluten
  • 2 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Chinese 5 Spice
  •  
  • 1 Tbsp Tahini
  • 1 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Liquid Smoke
  • ¾ Cup or more Broth
  •  
  • subheading: Sauce:
  • 1” minced Ginger piece
  • ½ Cup Hoisin Sauce
  • ¼ Cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Agave Syrup
  • ½ tsp Chinese 5 Spice
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ tsp Ginger Powder
  • Red Food Colouring
  • Chilli Flakes, to taste
Steps
  1. Blend wet ingredients.
  2. Add to dry ingredients.
  3. Bake in a pan for 12 minutes.
  4. Flip.
  5. Bake another 12 minutes.
  6. Brush with sauce.
  7. Bake 10 more minutes.
  8. Cut into ribs.
  9. Bake 10 more minutes.
