Krystal's Chocolate Pie

1 baked pie shell

2 cups milk

7 tablespoons cornstarch

1 ¼ cup sugar

¼ cup cocoa

dash of salt

¼ teaspoon vanilla

Heat milk a a double boiler until hot. Do not boil.

Mix sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt in mixer. Add hot milk from double boiler and mix for 1 minute or until smooth. Add eggs and mix well.

Pour this mixture back into the double boiler. Stire until mixture begins to thicken. This will prevent lumping. Add vanilla and cool.

Pour into pie shell and refrigerate. Top with whipped cream.

******In the preparation this recipe says to "add eggs" but there was no indication of how many eggs on the recipe I copied this from. I will update the recipe when I find out how many eggs are called for.*******
