  • ¼ cup deep-fried shallot (Indonesian: bawang goreng)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped scallions/chives/Chinese celery (Indonesian: daun seledri) (*)
  • 1 to 2 egg, lightly beaten
  • oil for deep frying
