This is my grandmothers recipe too we love it! Tip for forming the logs. Use waxed paper to press and form the mixture into the log shape. It is very very sticky and the waxed paper helps so much. Then wrap in a fresh piece of waxed paper and then foil. The two layers help it to stay fresh and not dry out. Good stuff!!!!
