Vegan Garlic Herb Bread (Pull Apart Sandwich Bread)
Ingredients
  • 4 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 ¼ cups warm water
  • 1 cup warm nondairy milk like almond or hemp or soy
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 ½ to 2 ½ cups bread flour
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • subheading: To brush on:
  • ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon fresh thyme (can use other herbs like rosemary or sage or a mix)
  • 6 cloves garlic crushed into a paste
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
