This recipe comes from Jameson Irish Whiskey, so it naturally favors that brand, and it is a good pairing choice for both the chilled sweet tea and the absinthe.

  1. Make the Green Tea, and mix with the simple syrup. Chill in the fridge.
  2. Pour the absinthe into a rocks glass. Tilt and rotate the glass to swirl the absinthe around the inside of the glass. Once the glass is completely coated, pour out the remaining absinthe (discard or use it in the next glass if making more than one cocktail). Add ice to the glass, pour the whiskey into the glass, and top off with green tea. Garnish with a slice of lime.
