Trifle
Ingredients
  • 1 Swiss jam roll
  • ¼ cup sherry
  • 1 serve thermomumma thick custard
  • 1 packet raspberry jelly
  • Whipped cream
  • THICK CUSTARD INGREDIENTS
  • 250g cream
  • 250g milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 50g custard powder (or cornflour if preferred)
  • 80g raw sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Steps
  1. Slice & layer Swiss roll in base of dish
  2. Pour over sherry
  3. CUSTARD INSTRUCTIONS
  4. add all ingredients to bowl & cook 8 minutes 90° speed 4
  5. Pour warm custard over cake
  6. Allow to cool in fridge while making jelly
  7. Allow jelly to set in fridge a minimum of 2 hours then pour over custard
  8. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nuts, chocolate or both
Notes
  • Make sure the Jelly has nearly set before putting on top!
