Ingredients
  • 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar (or less)
  • 1 to 2 cup smooth peanut butter (or crunch)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (or softened well - will be firmer that way)
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  •  
  • 8 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable shortening

  • Options
  • add butterfinger bits or heath bits on top (or in for crunchier)
  • stir in 1 to 2 cups rice crispies or graham cracker crumgs
  • Sub Kroger block chocolate melts for chocolate/shortening
