  • 2 cups whole milk (do not use lowfat or nonfat)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 7 cups brioche or egg bread cubes (about 6 ounces)

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cream Sherry
