Ingredients
  • 6 to 8 medium potatoes
  • ¾ cup onions, chopped
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp celery seed
  • ¾ cup water
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • ½ cup vinegar
Steps
  1. Boil potatoes, then peel and slice. (can be done before boiling too)
  2. Fry bacon.
  3. Fry onions in bacon fat.
  4. Add flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper to onion and bacon fat. Stir in water and vinegar.
  5. Boil for 1 minute. Break bacon into small pieces; add dressing mixture.
  6. Pour dressing over potatoes, serve hot.
