Sesame Noodles with Chicken and Asparagus
Ingredients
  • 10 ounces whole wheat thin spaghetti
  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus (preferably thin)
  • 5 to 6 scallions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • subheading: For the sauce:
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic or Chinese black vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon sriracha (more or less to taste)
