Turkey Swiss Broccoli Bake

Ingredients
  • 2 10-oz. packages frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • ½ cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2 cups julienned turkey
  • ½ cup soft bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon butter, melted
Steps
  1. Prepare broccoli according to package directions. Drain well and mix with lemon juice. Spread mixture into 9-inch round baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan, melt 2 Tablespoons butter. Blend in flour and salt, and cook for a minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Add milk; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles., then remove from heat and stir in the Swiss cheese until melted.
  4. Add turkey and spoon mixture over broccoli in baking dish.
  5. Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and melted butter; sprinkle over casserole.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through.
