Einkorn Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread
Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Einkorn Sourdough Starter (can be cold right out of the refrigerator or you can use starter that has been refreshed and left to rise for at least 6 hours)
  • ½ cup plus 1 tablespoon (130 g) warm water, at 100°F
  • 1 cup jovial All-Purpose Einkorn Flour or 1¼ cups jovial Whole Wheat Einkorn flour

  • One batch of Einkorn Sourdough Levain
  • ½ cup water at 100°F
  • ½ cup warm milk 100°F
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 4 ½ jovial Whole Wheat Einkorn Flour
  • 1¾ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter, coconut oil, or jovial Reserve Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil
