A great appetizer dip when served with pita chips or vegetables! Can also be used as a salad dressing and makes a great condiment when served in gyros or with souvlaki.

Ingredients
  • 1⁄ 2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt, (or strained plain yogurt)
  • 1⁄ 2 cup Cucumber, peeled, seeded, and shredded, squeezed and drained
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Dill or Mint, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 splash Ouzo, (optional)
  • Kosher Salt, to taste
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste
Steps
  1. Mix everything together and let chill in the fridge for an hour or more to let the flavors mingle.
