Heath Fudge Bars

Ingredients
  • 1  sleeve saltine crackers
  • 1  cup butter
  • 1  cup sugar
  • 1  tsp. vanilla
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • ½ cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans
Steps
  1. Line a large cookie sheet  (one with a lip) with foil. Then line the pan with saltines.
  2. Heat butter and sugar until hot,  boil for 3 minutes add vanilla.
  3. Pour mixture over saltines and bake for 8 minutes at 325°.
  4. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over hot tray, spread when melted. Sprinkle with nuts.
  5. Refrigerate until cool, brake into squares.
  6. Store in an air tight container in a cool spot.
