Tomato Beef Chow Mein with Crispy Noodles

  • • 3 to 4 medium tomatoes (cut into wedges)

  • • 5 tablespoons cooking oil + 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • • ½ teaspoon salt
  • • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • • 1 to 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce or ketchup
  • • 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with ½ cup water
