Hamburger Soup

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1½ quart water
  • ⅓ cup barley
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 3 medium potatoes, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 beef boullion cube
  • salt & pepper
Steps
  1. Brown hamburger and onion.
  2. Add tomatoes, water, barley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Simmer 1 hour.
  4. Cook carrots, potatoes, and celery in enough water to cover.
  5. Add a little salt.
  6. When vegetables are done, stir into soup.
  7. Add Worcestershire sauce, beef boullion, salt, and pepper.
