Okonomiyaki Japanese pancake

Ingredients
  • 1c (120g) okonomiyaki or all-purpose flour
  • ¾c (180ml) water
  • 3 eggs
  • 120g cooked pork, chicken, shrimp or bacon
  • 10 large cabbage leaves (500 to 600g), chopped
  • 2 pcs chopped green onion
  • 1½T vegetable oil
  • 1c okonomiyaki sauce
Steps
  1. Mix flour with water.
  2. Stir eggs, meat and vegetables in the batter.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet or hot plate
  4. Pour batter to make a griddle cake about 6" across and 0.5" thick
  5. Cook both sides on medium-low heat until golden brown (about 5 mins each).
  6. Place the pancake to serving plate and spread okonomiyaki sauce on top as well as some Japanese mayonnaise.
