Deep Fried Apple Wedges
Ingredients
  • 6    Apples peeled and cored and sliced in medium thick wedges
  • 1 Batch Funnel cake batter
  • Caramel Sauce
  • Powdered sugar
  • Whipped cream
  • Hot oil for frying
  • Cinnamon sugar (optional)
Steps
  1. Coat apples with funnel cake batter.  ( Or coat with cinnamon sugar before dipping in batter.)
  2. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  3. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, drizzle with caramel sauce, top with whipped cream.
