Chinese BBQ Pork Char Siu
Ingredients
  • Marinade
  • 2 T Hoisin sauce
  • 2 T Oyster sauce
  • 2 T light soy sauce (Chinese, not Japanese)
  • 1 T ground bean sauce
  • 5 T maple syrup
  •  
  • Meat
  • 1 to 2 lbs of pork cheeks or pork butt.   Look for a piece that has little pockets of fat through out, then cut the pork horizontally into about an inch thick.
