Beef Stew Instant Pot
This classic meal meets the instant pot! Its quicker than making it in a dutch oven and the meat always turns our PERFECTLY! And of course, here is just one way to make it, or use your favorite stew recipe :)
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ Pounds Beef Stew Meat, cubed
  • 7 to 8 yellow potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 1 carton beef broth
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tbs Minced garlic
  • 1 Large Onion, diced
  • 1 16 Oz Bag Baby Carrots, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 2 Tablespoons Water
Steps
  1. Set your Instant Pot to sauté, add butter, add stew meat, salt and pepper and sear on multiple sides. Add all ingredients except cornstarch and water. Cook on high for 35 minutes, allow pressure to naturally release for 5 to 10 minutes and then release the rest. Mix together the cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl and stir into the stew until thickened.
