  • 320g self-raising flour
  • 200g caster sugar
  • 200g soft light brown sugar
  • 80g good-quality cocoa powder
  • 100ml strong, hot coffee
  • 300ml evaporated milk
  • 130g unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 397g tin of caramel
  • 300g desiccated coconut, toasted
  • 150g pecans, toasted and finely chopped

  • 23cm springform cake tin, bottom and sides lined with baking paper and the outside wrapped in foil
