Keto Chicken Korma

Ingredients
  • 2 TB butter
  • 1 TB minced onion
  • 1 TB minced garlic or granulated garlic
  • ½ TB ground ginger
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 2 TB tomato paste
  • 2 cups chopped or shredded rotisserie chicken (or cooked chicken breast)
  • ½ cup half & half (or coconut milk, hwc etc)
Steps
  1. Mix spices together in a small dish and set aside
  2. Melt the butter in cast iron or large deep skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the spices and almond flour, mix well and stir for 1 to 2 minutes
  4. Stir in the broth and tomato paste. Bring up to a low simmer for 2 minutes
  5. Add the chicken until warm throughout, mixing occasionally, about 2 minutes.
  6. Turn off the heat and stir in the half & half .
Notes
  • Can use garam masala spice mix in place of cumin & allspice
