  • 2 tablespoons rice wine, sherry, water, or chicken broth, more as needed
  • ¾ cup cashews
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeds removed, cut into thin strips
  • 2 teaspoons dark soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
