Eggs - Dill Pickled Hard Boiled Eggs the Easy Way!!!

Servings: Serves 5

Servings: Serves 5
Ingredients
  • 10 hard boiled, peeled eggs
  • pickle juice from a 32 oz jar of Clausen’s Whole Dill Pickles (plus the jar!)
  • ½ a pickle, chopped
  • ½ yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 slices cooked, crumbled bacon
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp dill weed
Steps
  1. The first part to this recipe is to eat the dill pickles saving ½ a pickle, the jar and the pickle juice!!
  2. Once done, add the chopped pickle, onion, garlic, bacon, black pepper and dill weed to the pickle juice.
  3. With the cover on the jar shake well to mix the ingredients. Then add the 10 eggs. Again with the cover on shake gently to mix.
  4. Then refrigerate the jar for several days to let the flavors come together and to let the eggs pickle.
  5. Then eat and enjoy!! Keep eggs refrigerated till they are gone.
Notes
  • Side note 1: These make a great start to some tasty deviled eggs or egg salad!
  • Side note 2: To make this really easy use the already hard boiled and peeled eggs at your grocery store.
  • Side note 3: Want a little heat added to this? Some sliced jalapeños or pepper of choice works well in the pickle marinade too!
