  • 2 lb chicken breasts cut each breast into 2 pieces
  • 2 cups brown basmati rice
  • 1 jalapeno sliced into 8 wedges optional for extra spicy **
  • 2 tbsp ghee divided
  • 1 large onions thinly sliced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1.5 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp saffron mixed in 1 tbsp warm milk
  • 4 boiled and shelled eggs optional
