Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup uncooked regular long-grain rice
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (½ cup)
  • 2 and ½ cups water
  • 1 and ½ teaspoons salt

  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • (you can use a can of tomato sauce instead of tomatoes and paste)
