Instant pot, 22 min, took 15 min to decompress, sautéed my onions in just a touch of oil, added less salt, some paprika black pepper (OP).
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup plus 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup brown lentils, sorted and rinsed
  • 1 cup whole grain brown rice*
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 2 large white onions, sliced in thin rings
  • Paprika to taste
