All-Purpose Baking Mix
Wheat, grain and gluten free
Ingredients
  • 4 cups almond meal or Flour
  • 1 cup ground golden flax seeds
  • ¼ cup coconut flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground psyllium seed
Steps
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond meal or flour, flaxseeds, coconut flour, baking soda and psyllium seed.
  2. Store in an airtight container, preferably in the refrigerator.
Notes
  • Nutrition: Per 1 tablespoon: 40 calories, 2 g protein, 2 g carbohydrates, 3 g total fat, 0 g saturated fat, 1 g fiber, 33 mg sodium
  • Sources: All these can be found at most larger supermarkets, but you'll have to look hard to find them.  We get our finely ground blanched almond flour in 3 pound bags from Costco, but Walmart also sells almond flour and almond meal. Other good suppliers are Fry's Food and Whole Foods.
