Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon smoky paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional; these are spicy)
  • 2 bay leaves
