  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala, or more to taste
  • 3 medium Yukon gold potatoes, cut into ½-inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or more to taste
  • 1 cup water, or more as needed
  • 1 cup fresh or thawed frozen peas
  • ¼ cup finely chopped cilantro
  • Fresh lemon juice, to taste (optional)
