Summer (Pasta) Salad
appetizer/snack
Ingredients
  • 1 box pasta (tri-colored garden rotini is good)
  • 1 extra-large bottle of light zesty italian dressing
  • 1 green pepper
  • 3 sweet bell peppers (usually a red, an orange, and a yellow)
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 containers of sweet cherry tomatoes, halved (can do less)
  • 1 pack of pepperonis, halved
  • 1 small block of colby cheese, cubed small
Steps
  1. Cook, drain, and rinse pasta
  2. Cut all desired veggies to preferred size (usually diced unless otherwise noted)
  3. Add dressing and meats
  4. Stir and serve, good room temp and chilled
Notes
  • May want extra dressing if chilling the salad...the veggies soak up the dressing
