Sugar cookies

⅔ cups Butter flavored shortening or butter softened

2 cups sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

4 tablespoons milk

4 cups flour

2 ½ teaspoons baking powder

½ Teaspoon salt

Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla and milk.

Mix together flour, baking powder and salt in another bowl and then add slowly to creamed ingredients.

Put in refrigerator for 1 hr. Roll dough in separate amounts on floured surface to about ¼ inch. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet or use silicone sheet in cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 7 to 9 minutes.
