Sherry Chicken

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 split chicken breasts
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • ⅛ cup sherry
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 package egg noodles
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
Steps
  1. Melt butter on medium.
  2. Fry chicken skin side down first, then flip and continue to fry.
  3. Add diced onion to pan and sauté until tender.
  4. Add sherry, cream of mushroom soup, and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  6. While the chicken is simmering, cook egg noodles.
  7. Serve chicken and gravy over noodles.
