Super Easy Pumpkin Dump Cake

A native of Cleveland Ohio and I love to cook and entertain. As a full time RVer, I have limited kitchen space, but that doesn’t stop me from cooking up a storm! Recently worked as Activities Director for an RV resort on Florida where I was able to serve up some of my favorite recipes to our residents and guests.

subheading: For the filling:

1 (30-oz) can pumpkin pie mix, use pie mix, not puree!*

3 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream , OR evaporated milk

⅔ cup granulated sugar

¾ teaspoon kosher salt

1 & ½ tablespoons pumpkin pie spice

subheading: For the top:

1 (15-oz) box yellow cake mix , add it to the recipe dry, not prepared

½ cup all purpose flour

¼ cup sugar

1 cup pecans, chopped, to mix into flour mixture (optional)

½ cup pecans, chopped, for the top (optional)

1 cup butter, melted (2 sticks)

vanilla ice cream , or whipped cream for serving

salted caramel sauce, for serving
