Herb Spread
Ingredients
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 2 teaspoons chives, minced
  • 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
Steps
  1. Mince garlic; sprinkle with salt. Mash garlic and salt together with tines of fork or back of a knife to form a paste. Place in a small mixing bowl.  Add cream cheese, dill, chives and parsley. Stir together until well blended. Refrigerate, covered for several hours.
Notes
  • Can add lemon zest, capers and salmon
