35 Minute Chicken Biryani
Ingredients

  • ½ spoon whole poppy seeds
  • 12 g salt
  • Juice from ½ of a lemon
  • 113 g (4 oz) plain yogurt
  • 1 pound (about 3 to 4)  boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 60 g (4 tablespoons) vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp leaf saffron, loosely packed (Substitute: Turmeric)

  • 120 g (1 cup) long-grain (basmati) rice
