Monterey Jack Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
  • 1  cup butter
  • 3  cups monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1  cup sour cream
  • 2 (4 ounce) cansdiced green chilies, drained
  • 1  dash hot sauce (or to taste)
Steps
  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low, and stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  3. Mix in sour cream and green chilies, and cook, stirring occasionally just until heated through.
  4. Do not allow to boil.
