Homemade Chicken Nuggets/Strips

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg chicken tenders (remove white tendons)
  • ¼ c Parmesan cheese
  • 1 t crushed basil leaves
  • 1 t crushed thyme leaves
  • ½ c Italian bread crumbs
  • ½ t salt
  • ½ c margarine, melted
  •  
  • Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
  • 1 c mayo
  • 1 c honey
  • 1 c mustard
  • 2 T Worcestershire sauce
  • pepper to taste
Steps
  1. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, and seasonings.
  2. Dip chicken pieces in margarine, then in crumb mixture.
  3. Place chicken in a single layer on foil-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  5. Make Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce . . .
  6. Mix all ingredients well. Serve with nuggets.
Notes
  • Pairs nice with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli.
