Like a Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- Cake
- 1 c. sugar
- 1T softened butter
- ¾ c. flour
- 2 t. baking powder
- ½ c evaporated mil
- 1 t. vanilla
- 3c diced apples
- ¼ c pecans chopped
- Topping
- ½ c flour
- ¼ c brown sugar
- ¼ c butter
Steps
- Cream sugar and 1 T butter. Mix flour and baking powder. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture. Stir in vanilla, apples and pecans. Spread into 8 inch square pan.
- Mix flour, brown sugar and butter to form a crumble. Sprinkle on top of batter.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
